TIC is a radio reading service for the blind and visually impaired, serving Massachusetts and Southern New England. In March 2010, the Foundation made a grant of $1,500 to support TIC’s “Yoga Show,” which blends gentle yoga postures and movements with meditation and pranayana to help the listener stay present in their body and in touch with the moment. This popular radio program serves a population with little or no opportunity to be otherwise exposed to the practice of yoga, and has been enthusiastically received by both its listeners and the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind.
