Description of Organization
Antara Network was founded in 2020 as a nonprofit organization dedicated to land-based, intergenerational, and multicultural healing — rooted in the principles of restorative justice, ancestral remembrance, and embodied reconnection. What began as a small circle of practitioners seeking to integrate contemplative practice with community repair has grown into a mycelial network with multiple active sites. They bring Buddhist inspired principles of compassion, mindfulness, and interdependence into community life — supporting people to restore right relationship with land, lineage, and one another.
Grant(s) Awarded
In 2026, a grant of $5,300 was awarded to support Antara Network’s Healing Lineage, Healing Community program, which integrates Restorative Justice and Ancestral Healing to embody Buddhist values in daily life. Through circles, workshops, and retreats at their North Carolina and Colorado sites, they create spaces to tend conflict, honor ancestral stories, and cultivate compassion and resilience. This grant supports program delivery and seeds a model of embodied Dharma for healing across generations.
