Description of Organization

BE Meditation Group began in June of 2016 with a single purpose; to promote and support organizations bringing meditation into the mainstream. In conjunction with their partner, Black Zen, a movement initiated to improve the health and well-being of minorities, BE Meditation Group brings the practice of meditation into the community, with a focus on women and minorities, with its Onsite Meditation program.

BE Meditation Group’s approach to meditation adjusts for cultural differences to make meditation accessible, relatable and effective across a dynamic range of individuals. The guided meditation offered enhances the ability for anyone to start and stick with it. Women and minorities have a unique set of challenges and in conjunction with their partnership with Black Zen, BE Meditation hopes to assist these groups gain control of their minds, while creating a better life for themselves and their families.
