Description of Organization
Dharmachakra’s mission is twofold: to bring the voices of Triratna Dharma teachers and Triratna’s approach to Dharma practice to the widest possible audience around the world; and to provide a platform for greater sharing and cross-fertilization across the globally dispersed Triratna Buddhist Order and Community, as we apply and adapt Sangharakshita’s presentation of the Dharma to the 21st-century context.
Grant(s) Awarded
In 2026, a grant of $2,800 was awarded to support Dharmachakra, Inc. in offering and publicizing three online retreats led by senior American teachers of the Triratna Buddhist Order: The Buddha and the Goddess of the Earth (July 2026); The Ten Buddha Mandala: A Path of Transformation (August 2026); and Dhyana for Dummies (September 2026). These retreats will provide opportunities to experience the supportive conditions for practice and learning usually available only in an in-person meditation retreat.
