Description of Organization
Their vision is to bring together thought leaders in science, innovation/technology, and spirituality for a wisdom talk series that would lead into a larger Berkeley Circle Conference with annual, topical themes under the banner: The Berkeley Circle: Dialogues on Mind, Science, Innovation, and Spirituality Conversations that matter for our time. The Berkeley Circle is a designed as an intimate gathering of no more than 45 participants. By keeping the circle small, they create the conditions for genuine dialogue, meaningful exchange, and the depth of reflection that large audiences cannot easily sustain. These evenings are not simply lectures, but living conversations at the crossroads of science, innovation, and wisdom.
Grant(s) Awarded
In 2026, a grant of $3,800 was awarded to support the launch of the Berkeley Circle Talks, an invitation-only series of six gatherings beginning April 2026. Limited to 45 participants, these evenings foster intimate dialogue at the crossroads of Dharma, science, and culture. Through short talks and facilitated conversation, participants explore pressing issues—from technology and ethics to ecology and wisdom—demonstrating how Dharma speaks directly to the challenges of modern life.
