Description of Organization:
Natural Capitalism Solutions(NCS), is a non-profit formed in 2002 in Longmont, Colorado to develop
climate change and sustainability solutions for companies, countries, and communities.
Resources are provided as a springboard for turning ideas into actions and collaboration with other organizations. NCS is building an economy in service to life through education, innovative solutions and youth empowerment by assisting companies, communities and countries implement more regenerative practices profitably.
Grant(s) Awarded
In 2022, a grant in the amount of $5,000 was awarded to support a program to reframe American Buddhism to the traditional indigenous traditions of sacred space. The Foundation grant facilitates the discovery and strengthening of relationships with the remaining indigenous wisdom holders with travel and honorariums for indigenous elders. The purpose of the proposal to uncover the common ground existing between indigenous knowledge and the Buddhist canon. The path is the pacifying, enriching, and magnetizing of a marriage of these wisdom traditions. The fruition will be a Shamanic Buddhism capable of enduring for thousands of years while providing the tools of transformation from a dark age to an enlightened society.
