In 2017, a grant in the amount of $10,000 was awarded to assist Pema Karpo in the expansion of their 7 Key Elements for Success Program for underserved communities in the larger Memphis area who would benefit from the teachings of mindfulness and the teachings of Buddha.

In 2011, a grant in the amount of $3,000 was awarded in a “Fund the Fundraising” grant. Funds were provided to use in Pema Karpo’s “Go Green 2 Get Green” fundraising project.

In 2010, a grant in the amount of $10,000 was awarded in matching funds if PKMC raised $50,000 by the first quarter of 2012. To help Pema Karpo raise $50,000 and develop ongoing fundraising skills, the Lenz Foundation provided fundraising training to Pema Karpo through Lynne Twist and the Soul of Money Institute.
