Description of Organization
Sati Sangha’s Mission is to support and foster greater self-understanding and spiritual development through Reflective Meditation practice combined with the study of early Buddhist teachings. They offer both local and online communities, meditation retreats, and a mentorship program for those aspiring to teach this meditation practice in their
own communities.
Grant(s) Awarded
In 2026, a grant of $2,300 was awarded to support continuing an annual retreat for our long-standing Reflective Meditation (RM) community. These retreats have been a cornerstone of practice for over 30 years. In response to the unique needs of an aging, geographically dispersed sangha, they proposed a hybrid retreat format that meets current realities while preserving the essential benefits of communal meditation practice.
